Could have brought his wife with him, but seems to have arrived too late for Jane's birth. Transferred to Invalid Bat. 1 Nov. 1845

Daniel comes from a marriage of Eliza in Bytown in 1841.
He was listed as a wool Merchant, Hamilton, Lanarkshire, Scot. The FHc search turns up the Daniel I have as Jane's father.
