The funeral of Mrs. August Lawrenz was held Thursday afternoon from the home of. her son, William Mittelsteadt. to St. Luke's Lutheran church.

The former Augusta Kirk, she was born in Germany 82 years ago. Coming to Canada with her parents, she look up residence in Germanicus. Her first husband was William Mittelsteadt. Several years following his death, she married August Lawrenz who pre-deceased her by 40 years.

Surviving are five sons.
Albert, Arthur and Walter Mirelesteadt of Pembroke,
William Mittelsteadt at Ecanville and
Frank Mittelsteadt of Kitchener,
and one daughter. Mrs. Emily Simpson of Utica, NY.
