Comments: I am doing research on Dryden that were living in New Brunswick Canada I have found a William Dryden who was a Lieutenant in the 1 st New Jersey Volunteers that settled at Gagetown, New Brunswick and lived in Kings's County. He, I was told he is listed in Wood-Holt's book The King's Loyal American which states that he was from Delaware and a Lieutienant in the first DeLancy's battalion. The ship he arrived in 1783 in New Brunswick was call the "Soverign" and it disembarked on the River Saint John. in NB. Does any one have any information on the first settlers of NB the Dryden name. I have over 575 families of New Brunswick . Thank you
