LUNEY—DRYDEN

     A quiet wedding was solemnized Saturday, June 11 at 7:30 pm in the St. James Anglican Church when Marie Magdalene, only daughter of Mrs. Annie Dryden, became the bride of William Luney son of Mr William Luney and the late Mrs. Luney of Transcona. The Reverend J. P. Milner officiated.

     The bride, given in marriage by her brother, John G Dryden, was attired in a grey gabardine suit with pink accessories and wore a corsage of baby orchids. The bride was attended by Elma Campbell who wore a rose suit with white accessories and a corsage of white rose buds.

     Mr. Fred Walker was best man.

     Following the ceremony a reception was held at the home of the bride*s mother at 410 Government Road. Mr. D. F. Sullivan gave the toast to the bride.

     The happy couple left for Vancouver for their honeymoon. They will make their home in Rainy River.¹
