Pinsk.¹ He was the son of Piotr Kliner and Karolina Scheirer.¹ Heinrich Kliner was educated circa 1910 at, belarus, ; While living on the family homestead near Lahkva or Lachwa (circa 1910-12) my grandfather, Heinrich went to "elementary" school at a railroad school in Luninyets. His father, Piotr Kliner was a gardener for a Baroness and it was through her and her society connections that my grandfather was able to attend this school - usually reserved for the "elite".

While attending school in Luninyets he was able to return to the farm on weekends. Later he attended an agricultural college in/near Orsha and was only able to return home only once a year. You will notice while looking at these towns and cities that our family line very closely resembles the rail line!

My grandfather always spoke warmly of "the railway" and I assume his education and subsequent rise in status had a lot to do with that fondness.

Once graduated from the agricultural college he managed a 750,000 acre farm/estate near Orsha until the Bolshevik's took over. It was then that he returned to Poland to acquire his passport.¹
