Barb was an active member of the Smiths Falls community for many years. She was a member of the Westminster Presbyterian Church Choir and a Rotary Ann. She belonged to the Smiths Falls Curling Club, the Smiths Falls Golf and Country Club and participated in "Meals on Wheels" and "Women in Crisis".
Prior to retirement, she worked as a ward clerk at the Smiths Falls Public Hospital - South Unit.
Cremation services will be private.
In lieu of flowers, Barb requested that friends who wish to express condolences might contribute to the charity of their choice.
