     LeRoy M. Spencer Sr., 79, a resident of Puyallup for the past 18 months, died Feb. 18 at his home. He was born in Minnesota to a family of 11 children. He attended school there and in 1959 moved to Centralia, Wash. after serving a term in the
United States Navy. In 1972 he moved to the Kent-Covington
area and in 1978 moved to Bonney Lake. After moving to Yakima for a few years he returned to Puyallup in 1999.

     He retired as a quality control supervisor for a mobile home manufacturing company. He was a member of the Lutheran Church.
     
He was preceded in death by his wife Edith last year. He is survived by two daughters, Pearl Emery of Puyallup and Cherie Wild of Toledo, Wash; two sons, LeRoy Spencer Jr. of Lacey and Sandy of Puyallup; one brother, three sisters; 13 grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.

     A memorial service will be conducted Feb. 23 at Powers Funeral Home of Puyallup.1
