Arthur Edward Krienke It would appear from the BOOK that Arthur Edward never married. Doreen sent me a copy of a death and burial record from the church in Southey and it explains that Arthur had an accident on June 18, 1939 involving a tractor. It seems that this caused his death on Oct. 17, 1940 and he was buried three days later on the 20th. I assume the accident took place in and around Southey. But Brian Krienke says the accident was in Whitewodd, Sask.
Baptised in Southey, Sask., on March 18, 1914 and his sponsors were Adolph Siperek and Emilie Martin (Marzufka), and the event took place in Immanuel church, Southey. See photos for document.
Arthur caught himself and the curtains on fire sometime around the age of 5, and brother Norman put it out by rolling him around on the ground. He suffered burns over 1/4 of his body and spent 2 years getting skin grafts. But did OK as was able to play football in high school (from Laura Necomde May 2004). It seems like he was accident prone.
