I have traced several of his ships. He married Margaret Meagher in Nova Scotia in 1844 and Arthur George was born circa 1850, George then abandoned his wife and son and sailed for Australia for 3 years and then New Zealand where he was murdered ! Interestingly his 'wife' Maggie remarried there a few years later.....within months of his real widow remarried in Nova Scotia. circa 1855, at, , New Zealand.¹
